Presenting and describing a company

An ever-increasing number of professional people around the world need to present themselves and their company to international investors, customers, suppliers and new or potential employees. This demands an adequate vocabulary.

English is an immensely rich and varied language where one word can have five or six synonyms. There are also many words which have a similar meaning or look rather like each other but are nevertheless used differently.

The exercises in this section are designed to assist you in developing your knowledge of the vocabulary needed to present a company, its history, structure and operations.
